Cochrane organisational, editorial and publishing policies
Both resources have been live since August 2013 and together replace the former Cochrane Policy Manual. Anyone needing to access the former Cochrane Policy Manual for reference can contact the Central Executive Team.
The Cochrane Editorial and Publishing Policy Resource brings together Cochrane’s editorial and publishing policies, as well as general information about the editorial and publishing processes, and the published products, including The Cochrane Library.
For queries relating to a specific section of the resource, please direct your query to the section editor listed at the end of the section. For general queries, please contact Harriet MacLehose (email@example.com), Senior Editor, Cochrane Editorial Unit.
Download the Cochrane Editorial and Publishing Policy Resource in PDF format. Attention: Please note that this PDF version is generated nightly and thus may not reflect changes made in the last 24 hours.
The Cochrane Organisational Policy Manual includes Cochrane's organisational policies. Most of its content originates from the former Cochrane Policy Manual and includes important information on topics such as Cochrane’s policy on the granting of endorsements or the general criteria for Cochrane Colloquia sponsorships.
PLEASE NOTE! The Organisational Policy Manual will be undergoing a review and overhaul in early 2016. In the meantime only selective updates are being made and there may be some sections out-of-date. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lucie Binder (firstname.lastname@example.org), Senior Advisor to the CEO, Cochrane Central Executive.
