Yes - I was head of the steering committe of the German guidelines on fibromyalgia and on opioids for chronic noncancer pain on behalf of the German Pain Society. I was member of the update of the EULAR recommendations on the management of fibromyalgia. I am head of the task forces of the European Pain Federation EFIC on position papers on cannabais-based medicines for chronic pain and on opioids for chronic noncancer pain. I am member of the guideline groups of the German Gastroenterology Society on irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. I am member of the medical board of the German Fibromyalgia Association and of the German Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis Association and of the European Network of Fibromyalgia Associations. As a clinician I treat patients with chronic pain and bowel diseases.
