What are the future phases?

While the first phase focuses on building this system to allow for better and more meaningful engagement with Cochrane, the latter phases will focus on using the data gathered about people’s activities and contributions to apply levels of membership in Cochrane. The Governing Board (formerly the Steering Group) has approved the concept of membership for those who have substantively contributed, and so the next step once we have captured data on people’s contributions will be to assess that data and decide on an appropriate cut-off point for what does or does not constitute a member.

We have prepared an update on the membership project ahead of the 2017 Mid-Year Meeting:
Cochrane Membership Thresholds - March 2017

Overall, we want to build a better understanding of the ways in which people contribute to Cochrane and ensure that we open up Cochrane more fully to everyone.  Please send your feedback to membership@cochrane.org.
