We now want to hear your views about this draft of the new strategic framework to help shape the final version. Your feedback will be used to inform changes to the final version, so please contribute to the conversation!
We’re particularly interested to hear to what degree you think the proposed Objectives successfully identify the priorities for Cochrane, over the next 3-5 years. The Objectives articulate the specific areas where Cochrane aims to make tangible and measurable progress in pursuit of the Goals. They will prioritize Cochrane’s work, and the Governing Board and Senior Management Team feel that it is in the area of the Objectives and associated Activities that most change from Strategy to 2020 is proposed, and further change through this consultation is most likely.
You are also welcome to email the Governance & Strategy team of the Central Executive at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contribute to the conversation on social media at #letscollaboratecochrane.
If you’re a member of a Cochrane Group, the Governance & Strategy team will be presenting at various Group-management meetings over the coming weeks, which provide another opportunity for you to give your feedback.
The aim is to launch the final version at the virtual Annual General Meeting in November 2020, with activities to deliver the outcomes set out in the framework beginning from 2021. Your input will be collated, reviewed and used to make changes to the version now open for consultation. As a collaborative membership organization, it is critical that the new strategic framework is sensitive to the experiences, insights and ambitions of Cochrane’s members and key stakeholders.
