About CIS Support

CIS Support provides induction training, ongoing training, and support to all Cochrane Information Specialist (CISs) in all aspects of their role within a Cochrane Review Group. 

Types of Support

CIS Support provides information specialists with training and support around all aspects of the CIS role. We provide two main types of support: induction training to help a new CIS learn about Cochrane information retrieval policies, processes and methods; and day-to-day trouble-shooting support for all CISs. In addition, the CIS Support team provides one-to-one support on specific topics and general training sessions (webinars or at meetings).
