Yes - I work as a gynaecological oncology surgeon for a publicly-funded healthcare system. I have chaired a session at an Industry-sponsored educational event in 2018 but did not accept payment or reimbursement for this activity. I declined my fee and asked them instead to donate my fee to a suitable charity. Sadly, the company would not do this.
