Archie is Cochrane's central server for managing documents and contacts details - archie.cochrane.org.
Archie is the internet based repository for Cochrane's documents and contact details. It contains data about all the persons involved in Cochrane and all the documents and Reviews produced. Within Archie it is possible to read, print and compare current and past versions of a document.
Together with RevMan 5, Archie forms the core Cochrane authoring infrastructure. These tools are freely available for Cochrane contributors, in order to meet the demands of producing high quality systematic reviews of primary research in human health care and health policy and deliver these for publication in the Cochrane Library and elsewhere.
Archie continues to be developed through an ongoing process of consultation with its users. To submit, vote, or share ideas on how to impove Archie, please visit ideas.cochrane.org.
The latest major Archie version, 4.11, was released on 13 January 2016.
