Following on from the successful recruitment of a new Chair for Cochrane (see the News item here) we are now looking for a Treasurer to join the Governing Board when Karen Kelly stands down in September 2024. 

The Treasurer advises and supports the Governing Board in fulfilling all its financial duties and responsibilities.  

The Board agreed that the recruitment process for the Treasurer should be open and transparent, a wide pool of candidates will be sought and to ensure this, a recruitment consultant will be used.  

We are looking for someone with significant leadership experience, including decision making at Board level. The new Treasurer must have substantial experience of management accounting and a good understanding of the UK charity regulations.
