We exist to assist health decision-makers access Cochrane’s existing research and evidence more easily and to use it more effectively in their work.

Cochrane’s Knowledge Translation (KT) is the process of ensuring Cochrane evidence reaches the people who need it the most; ensuring our high quality, trusted information is made accessible to decision-makers in the format they need it: the right reviews in the right format to the right audiences. Cochrane adopted a Knowledge Translation (KT) Framework in 2017, and an KT implementation plan is guiding the KT implementation work across the organisation.

Cochrane’s KT has a key role in ensuring that Cochrane evidence allows us to achieve our mission of promoting evidence-informed health decision-making by producing high-quality, relevant, accessible systematic reviews and other synthesized research evidence.
