The 4th Beijing Forum of Evidence-based Medicine, hosted by the Center for Evidence-based Medicine of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) and organized by the Institute for Excellence in Evidence-Based Chinese Medicine of BUCM, was held in Beijing from October 23rd to October 24th.
Seven international experts from Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, and Hong Kong, and 11 scholars from BUCM and its affiliated hospitals were invited to make wonderful academic reports and exchanges. The atmosphere of the conference was warm, attracting scholars from home and abroad, as well as the participation of many teachers and students from BUCM.
The conference focused on the topics of guideline and GRADE method, health economics, knowledge translation, systematic review and evidence synthesis, and focused on the application of cutting-edge clinical research methods and evidence analysis in the multidisciplinary intersection of Chinese and Western medicine.
The event attracted experts, scholars and researchers in the field of Chinese medicine from all over the world to discuss the heritage and innovation of Chinese medicine in evidence-based medicine. The successful holding of this conference has built a broader platform for international cooperation in Chinese medicine and helped the further development of evidence-based Chinese medicine.
