Cochrane Russia translates and records Cochrane podcasts in Russian language on a regular basis, now with active involvement of our volunteer translators. This podcast was translated and recorded by Cochrane Russia staff members, who authored this Cochrane review. This review and the podcast is of exceptional importance and is very relevant to Russian, post-Soviet, Eastern European and Asian health systems. The high relevance reflects the heavy unethic promotion of cerebrolysinfor the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke and what not. The Cochrane Review found no benefit of cerebrolysin and found serious safety concerns in people with acute ischaemic stroke.
