This was an introductory course on how to conduct a literature search for a systematic review. It provided a brief overview of the concept of systematic reviews and the steps to conducting a
comprehensive literature search. Participants were taught how to identify search terms based on the research question, develop a simple search strategy, run this in PubMed database and download and save results. The workshop format included lectures as well as hands-on sessions to practice basic search skills.
