Our Cochrane affiliate centre actively participated in the World Health Summit Regional Meeting held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from April 25–27, 2025. The event was organized in collaboration with the Cochrane India Network and Cochrane India (Indian Council of Medical Research).
Our contributions included:

We took part in a strategic dialogue aimed at shaping the Cochrane Colloquium 2026, which will be hosted by the Cochrane India Network. This session provided a platform to discuss themes, objectives, and collaborative opportunities for the upcoming global event.
2. Concept and application of Cochrane systematic review for clinical practice and healthcare policy on April 27, 2025:
We organized an interactive workshop focused on the concept and methodology of Cochrane systematic reviews. The session highlighted their utility in clinical decision-making and healthcare policy formulation. It was well-attended by a diverse group of stakeholders who engaged actively, clarifying numerous doubts about Cochrane reviews. Participants were also introduced to various Cochrane activities and informed about ways to get involved.
3. Panel Discussion at “Impact of Oral Health on Maternal and Neonatal Outcomes – An Evidence-Based Approach” on April 27, 2025:
I served as a chairperson in a panel discussion that explored the role of oral health in maternal and neonatal outcomes. The discussion emphasized evidence-based interventions targeting dental caries and periodontal health for both mothers and infants, highlighting the importance of integrating oral health into maternal care strategies.
